About The Game

Paper.io is a simple online game that can be played against friends or random players. Similar to “Snake”, you play as (what looks like) a Post-it Note that must capture as much territory as possible to win.

The other objective of the game is to knock out other players to claim more territory for yourself. The high score list on the top right of the screen shows the percentage of territory you have claimed in comparison to other players in the game.

You can use the keyboard (W,A,S,D) keys or your mouse to manoeuvre your ”Post-it” note around and capture territory by looping around to surround an area with your ‘tail’. Avoid being hit in the tail by other players as this will end your game!

There are some nice little add-ons that unlock as you gain achievements and you can also customise your avatar.

How to play remotely with friends:

Paper.io can be played with friends in “Party mode” by clicking “Create a Party” at the top right of the main screen. This will create a link to a private server that you can share with friends.
